Does, Elks donate to food pantry

The Jefferson Does Drove #196 and the Jefferson Elks #2306 had a friendly competition in August to see which could donate more food and funds to the Greene County Action Resource Center food pantry.

Collectively, the groups donated $640 in groceries and cash. The Does claimed bragging rights as winner.

“The real winner is the Greene County ARC and the people it serves,” said Bill Berger, exalted ruler of the local Elks lodge.
